Hi!!
My name is Danny who've just joined LIFE TIME for 3 weekes. (770-912-6104)
On Last sunday(MAR.14.2010), My locker room was stolen by some rubber and the 5 other peoples's as well(American).
At around 10P.M~12A.M, I finished working out and went to back to my locker.
I was very shocked once opened the door.
My clothes and shampoo was leaved but my small bag wasn't there at that time.
Absolutely locker key was in my pocket.
In my small bag, there were "my wallet, credit cards, $500 cash, driver's license, Korean driver's license, passport, keys(car, house, office)".
Policeman came to there and I could get "police report" on last Thursday(MAR.18.2010).
In the report, I could know that the master key was also stolen at that time!!!
In case of that, LIFE TIME also has some of liability but they've not taken any action.
I was trying to contact to general manager but couldn't till now.
Please let me know how I can complain to them?
There is no choice to raise my voice to them?
They lost their master key and it's their indisputable responsibility I think.
What do you guys think about it..?
It's so scary to go to there again.
Their security system has big problem so customer's locker was stolen but they say there's no thier liability.
It's not service..
Hope same issue doesn't recur and LIFE TIME can realize their liability.

You should call Member Relations and discuss this situation with them. They will give you the best course of action. I would like to point out, however, that we recommend you not store all of those valuables in your locker. But, give Member Relations a call!

Hi Bob,
Thank you for your feedback.
Could you let me know how I can reach to member relations~?
If you have their contact no. / person and let me know.
Thanks
This is what I fear! So, it's not safe to leave valuables in the car - you'd think that you could at least have peace of mind when valuables are in the locker. Other members need to be alerted to this, and management should shoulder liability for this.
i work at Life Time fitness as a trainer and recommend to all my clients do not bring so many valuables into a gym. What are you buying that you need 500 in cash. I would also never bring my passport into a gym i keep it locked up at home until i need it. having your drivers licesne should be proper id if asked for id. I again am trying to offer piece of mind and prevetative options. I know losing all of these thinks are valuable to you and would be to anyone. But i personally when i go to workout. i take 10 bucks, my cards, drivers licnese and preloaded credit card with a 100 value on it in case i lose it or it is stolen i only am out 100 bucks at most. My i pod and water bottle. sorry again this happened man
That's fine advice if your clients are able to make a separate trip to do their workout, but I would imagine, more than half of the people stopping by LTF either during their morning commute to work or on their commute home from work. I live 12 miles from the nearest LTF, and work 1 mile from another LTF, so only my Saturday trip is done to LTF and home. Its unrealistic to think people will not have "valuables" with them on most trips. I think its a common dilema, do I trust my trunk or the LTF locker with my laptop, wallet, etc.
Its interesting to hear of a master key being stolen I guess I would trust my trunk a little bit more now since I have no way to ensure that LTF is protecting master keys or communicating to members when they are stolen.
Danny, this is terrible that this happened to you. I hope you have gotten some reimbursement and assistance from the management of Lifetime by now. Which gym did this happen to you in?
Julia
i believe this was at the Sugarloaf, Ga location.
Danny,
Why are you caring around that much cash and bringing into a locker room?
