Biography:
Jeff joined the Life Time Fitness team in 2002, and maintains a dual roles as Director of Fitness Research & Design. Life Time Fitness leverages his knowledge and skills to deliver unparalleled class and club experiences for members, while developing unique, customized training programs. In his current role as Director of Research & Design, he is responsible for new program development, product and equipment research. This responsibility allows Jeff to create programs and transform lives through education and exercise. He teaches a number of classes at the Chanhassen club, including Cycle 60, Total Conditioning and Core Conditioning. He was one of the original creators of O2 Training, the T.E.A.M. Training programs, Total Conditioning, Cycle 60 and Core class and was instrumental in the development and design of several other signature Life Time offerings.
Expertise:
Jeff’s background in athletics began at a young age and continues today as he competes in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series, TC 10-mile, as well as several Life Time sponsored road races; he also participates in events such as the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival held in Wisconsin each September and the Ore-to-Shore cross-country mountain bike race in Michigan. He is an active member of IDEA and NASM; serves on the Globe University Academic Advisory Board for Fitness; holds a B.S. in Sports Management, Entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota; and has earned certifications from NASM - CPT, CGT, PES, and USA Cycling and Triathlon.
