The new website has been challenging and frustrating. I think I am finally starting to figure it out, but it took a lot more time than it should have. I know that Lifetime is working on it, but a little forewarning about the new website and a brief explanation of how to navigate would have been well worth their time before they switched. Of course, it is too late for that now.
One area of particular frustration was finding the group pages. I think I have now found some of the ones most important to me, but the "Groups" page needs to be better organized. There should be a main "Groups" page that is categorized to which people cannot add new groups. Under each category is where people could add groups. For example, their should be a "Cycling" category under the main "Groups" page, then sub-groups, like "Parker - Outdoor Cycle Club." Right now there are at least four cycling groups, namely, "bike, biking, cycle and cycling," and there are sub-groups under those - and those four groups are for all the clubs in the country. That makes it hard to find your local cycle club.
Also, I like how the Run, Cycle, Tri Club schedules are all on one sheet. However, it has been extremely difficult to find the schedule. How about putting it on the main "My Club?" page. There is a section labeled "Schedules and Something" (sorry, can't remember the exact name). That would be a great place to put it so it can be more easily accessed. Just a note, it needs to be updated - The Tri Club switched to Tuesday eves and it still shows Wed.
So, there is my two cents for the day, whether you wanted it or not
