My decision to participate in Life Time Fitness T.E.A.M. Weight Loss has turned out to be the best decision I have ever made for myself.  


Through this class, I have learned to make a commitment to myself by setting personal weight loss and training goals.  Nicholas Shebesta (LTF personal trainer) has taught me the importance of heart rate training and knowing what my anaerobic threshold or AT is.  Knowing what heart rate zones I am working in has allowed me the flexibility to train at different intensity levels and to know if my workouts are productive.  He has also taught me the importance of proper nutrition combined with cardio and weight training to help me reach my goals. 


Through T.E.A.M. Weight Loss I have been able to build up my endurance on the treadmill as well as other parts of my workouts.  I have changed my eating habits, learned how to work out on a regular basis, and to train within different heart rate zones. I have also made great new friends with other team members. 


My biggest accomplishment through T.E.A.M. Weight Loss was that I exceeded my goal which I set at the beginning of the session, and I actually lost 31 pounds during the 12-week class!

I am in T.E.A.M. Fitness now and love the variety of cardio and strength training.  This class takes me to a higher intensity of training, and my team and I are continually working to achieve long-term weight loss and fitness.  The team atmosphere has given me support and motivation to not give up and to keep moving forward towards my weight loss goal!   

To date I have lost a total of 85 pounds, and I now possess the confidence that my weight loss goal can and will be reached!!!!
