Class Types & Descriptions

Want to try a class but not sure where to begin? Try one of our introductory classes designed to set you up for success.


Foundations - Cardio – Improve cardiovascular health while enjoying movement in a non-intimidating environment. Great for beginners and those who simply want a less intense form of cardiovascular training.


Foundations - Combo – This class is for anyone who wants to build their foundation for overall fitness. It offers all the necessary components - low impact cardio, easy to follow strength training and an extended flexibility section. Do not spend another day on your couch thinking you can't keep up with a group class, this one is just for you.

Foundations - Strength – If you are new to strength training or simply prefer a less intense workout, this is your class! Getting started and getting more out of your day-to-day activities is the focus. A variety of equipment will be used and modifications will be given.

Intro to Cycle – Learn about proper bike set up, cadence, and safety to get the most out of your cycling classes.


Intro to Kickboxing – Learn the form and technique for the basic punches, kicks, blocks, and drills that will keep you safe and ensure you get a great workout!

Intro to Step – Learn basic choreography and terminology to prepare you for Step or Step Interval class.

Intro to Yoga – Learn the basic postures and breathing techniques that will prepare you to enjoy and feel successful in any of our yoga offerings.


Rockin' Stroll – Bring your baby and stroller to class! Enjoy a multi-level class incorporating both cardiovascular and muscular conditioning along with a wonderful, relaxing stretch for those aching "mommy muscles". The music and movement provide stimulation for the babies and a workout for moms. Babies remain in the stroller for the majority of the class, with an option to take them out if needed and during final stretch.

Saturday Sampler – Come find out more about all that Group Fitness has to offer! Each Sampler will feature a taste of Life Time Fitness Group Fitness formats followed up by a Q&A session. Specific formats offered each week will be posted outside the Group Fitness Studio.
