Healy would not be denied under the glass, but his Shooters squad still fell to the Hoopsters by 17.

It has always been written that 'records are meant to be broken,' but in the case of Ricky Buckley's 46-rebound performance in Indianapolis' inaugural season - a mammoth performance that UHers believed would never be topped - it appeared to be an unbreakable number.

Enter Rogers Healy.

Healy was all smiles on Tuesday

The Shooters' big man was a tower among flats yesterday evening, as Healy grabbed an astonishing 48 rebounds.  His total included 28 defensive rebounds and 20 offensive rebounds, but despite Healy's play on the glass he finished just 7-19 from the field (19 points) and even more surprisingly - Healy's squad lost 77-60 to the Hoopsters.  Bobby Young had 25 points and 8 rebounds to aid Healy's exhausting effort.

As if this game needed any more statistical fortitude, Hoopsters shooting guard Capri Davis unleashed a 22-point, 15-rebound, 16-assist triple-double to power his squad on to victory.  Capri's 16 assists sets the Premier Place record for most assists in a single game; to go along with Healy's 48 rebounds, this game will go down as one of the most influential in Ultimate Hoops history.

Davis' teammate Jason Kurek (18 pts, 11 rebs, 4 stls) also played well to boost the Hoopsters to an even 2-2 record and to send the Shooters to their first loss.

Other scores from Premier Place: Ballers 68, T-Birds 51
