Ultimate Hoops will be conducting a “Draft Tournament” on Saturday, December 5th at Target Center Life Time Fitness in Minneapolis, MN. The tournament is unique in that the players will sign up to play as individuals, rather than as a team. Then, approximately one week before the tournament, pre-selected General Managers (GMs) will draft their team for the tournament.
All games will have online box scores and photos. Ultimate Hoops will cover both the draft and the tournament online.
COST:
$30 per player | 1. Once the online signup goes live, the first 42 players to signup will be guaranteed a spot in the tournament. Players 18 years or older of all skill and basketball experience- Top-Flight & Recreational players- are allowed to signup and submit their names in the draft.
2. Only Life Time Fitness members are eligible to participate in this tournament. No non-members will be allowed to play.
3. Of these 42 players, the first six (6) that request to be a GM and can commit to being present at the live draft on November 30th will be selected.
4. On November 30th, GMs and Ultimate Hoops personnel will meet at NBA City in downtown Minneapolis to conduct draft.
5. GMs will select players to be on their team by taking turns in consecutive rounds. Order of selection will be determined by random drawing. Order of selection will be reversed every round (i.e. – GM who selected last in the first round will select first in the second round)
6. Draft will continue until all players have been selected.

2. Tournament will be conducted in a “pool play” manner
3. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games
4. Ultimate Hoops Official Rules will be used.
